Job Summary
Head Boys Golf Athletic Coach at Atlantic Coast High School. Administers all aspects of the sport within the athletic department, enforces conditioning and health/safety rules, ensures eligibility forms are on file, attends FHSAA rule clinics, coordinates health examinations, conducts fundraising, supervises athletes and facilities, enforces Title IX and regulations, monitors weekly academic progress, organizes practice and game duties for coaching staff, reports injuries, supports program improvement, and performs other duties as assigned. Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and coaching-related certifications including First Aid, CPR, AED, and NFHS concussion training; strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience preferred as an athletic coach or in the coaching arena
- Certifications & Licenses: Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
