Job Summary
Athletic Coach needed for Fall 2026 season at Dalton School to support multiple Middle and High School teams (grades 7-12) with fall sports including football, soccer, tennis, cross country, and volleyball. Responsibilities include coaching student-athletes, building a positive team culture, and supporting skill development, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Availability expected on weekdays from ~2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with the season running from August through October. Prior coaching and/or competitive playing experience is preferred; current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications are preferred or obtainable prior to the season. The role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Availability approximately 2:30 PM-6:30 PM on weekdays, depending on team schedule
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain certification prior to the season
- Authorized to work in the US without needing sponsorship
