Athletic Coach

Coach individual participants in sport skills and plan, schedule, and oversee regular practice programs. Maintain accurate season statistics, records, and results while enforcing discipline and sportsmanship standards with established penalties. Oversee facility safety conditions when students are present and adhere to injury prevention protocols. Establish procedures for player selection and eligibility criteria, then work with the athletic director on contest preparation. Recommend equipment purchases, manage supplies and uniforms, and account for all gear. Maintain attendance forms, insurance records, and necessary paperwork. Develop public communications procedures to inform parents and the community about the athletic program. Demonstrate compassion, patience, and understanding toward diverse students while attending staff, team, and district meetings. Present professionally in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
