Athletic Coach (Boys Track)

Model and teach high moral character and superior coaching standards, prioritizing sportsmanship. Implement athletic policies, promote the sport, and provide safe coaching mechanics and supervision. Maintain discipline, address grievances, and increase morale while supporting player academic and athletic success with faculty and staff. Develop programs compliant with the Rockingham County Schools Athletic Handbook and NCHSAA, assist the athletic director with budgeting and travel, and ensure compliance with state requirements for physical exams and parental consent. Give constant attention to student grades and conduct, present at all practices and games, and submit injury documentation within 24 hours. Organize pre-season meetings, manage equipment inventory, and safeguard assigned sites.
