Job Summary
Assist in administering all aspects of the middle-school volleyball program, coach practices and games, ensure safety and compliance with FHSAA/NFHS rules, manage tryouts, organize practices, monitor academics, supervise athletes, coordinate with the athletic director, report injuries to the athletic trainer, and support ongoing improvement of the athletic program. Requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, plus knowledge of coaching fundamentals, safety protocols, and relevant certifications (First Aid/CPR, NFHS courses, AED) to guide student-athletes in a professional, compliant environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS)
- AED training
- Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
