Job Summary
Athletic Coach - Assistant Volleyball at Twin Lakes Middle for the 2026-27 school year. Administers all aspects of the sport within the District and school Athletic Department policy, and follows Florida High School Athletics Association (FHSAA) and NFHS guidelines. Responsibilities include enforcing conditioning and safety rules, coordinating with the athletic director on examinations and paperwork, conducting and supervising fund-raising activities, ensuring proper supervision of athletes, enforcing Title IX and NFHS/FHSAA regulations, monitoring weekly academic progress, organizing practice and game duties, reporting injuries, supporting program improvements, and performing other duties as assigned. Required education is a High School Diploma or Equivalent, with certifications including First Aid, CPR, NFHS courses (Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports), AED training, and Florida DOE Athletic Coaching certificate. Strong communication, leadership, organization, and coaching skills are emphasized, along with the ability to manage tryouts, practices, team meetings, and athletic contests.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
