Job Summary
Coaches and administers all aspects of the girls track program at Twin Lakes Middle, ensuring safety and health compliance, organizing practices and competitions, coordinating with athletic staff, overseeing tryouts, supervising athletes and facilities, fundraising activities, and upholding governing rules (Title IX, FHSAA). Requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with responsibility for monitoring academic progress and reporting injuries and program needs to appropriate staff; must hold required coaching certifications and a high school diploma. Part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certifications & Licenses: Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
