Job Summary
Coaches the girls soccer program at Twin Lakes Middle for the 26-27 school year. Responsibilities include enforcing conditioning and safety rules, coordinating with the athletic director on examinations and equipment, organizing practice and game responsibilities, conducting fundraising activities, supervising athletes, ensuring compliance with Title IX/FHSAA, monitoring weekly academic progress, reporting injuries, and participating in program improvement. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of athletic coaching courses (First Aid, CPR, NFHS concussion in sports, AED) and Florida DOE Athletic Coaching certification. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience preferred as an athletic coach or in the coaching arena
- Certifications & Licenses: Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
