Job Summary
Oversees daily business operations of the athletics department and manages budgets for varsity teams; coordinates athletic team travel including bus companies, flights, and vehicle rentals; ensures compliance with department, NCAA, state, and University policies; processes purchase requisitions, invoices, deposit summaries, and various expense reports; supervises student staff and approves timesheets; develops and enforces department policies; serves as front office contact and handles mail, supplies, and facility-related tasks; supports scheduling of special meetings and campus visits; requires strong budgeting, travel coordination, and organizational skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant travel/budget platforms.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting
- A valid California Class C CA driver’s license with a good driving record is required. Note: Out-of-state licenses are valid until appointment. A valid California Class “C” driver’s license must be obtained within ten (10) days of appointment (in accordance with CA Vehicle Code 12505c).
