Job Summary
Self Defense Instructor to teach basic self-defense techniques to school-age youth in Watsonville, CA. Lead structured lessons focused on personal protection, situational awareness, and age-appropriate defensive techniques. Prepare lesson plans, maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, and deliver engaging weekly classes that build confidence, awareness, and discipline in students. Strong communication and leadership abilities required to effectively manage groups of youth during interactive, educational sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in martial arts, self-defense training, or related disciplines (Karate, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, etc.) preferred.
- Experience working with children or youth programs is a plus.
- Ability to manage a group of students in an active class setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
