Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise programming for the Uniontown Adult Training Facility by assisting the Sharon ATF supervisor with Direct Support Professionals. Set up the daily program, implement schedules, and clear changes through the Program Specialist. Monitor individual progress against goal objectives, pass medications, and complete required documentation. Train staff on necessary procedures and ISP requirements while reporting policy infractions. Plan, participate in, and manage transportation for community outings. Work Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm as an hourly, non-exempt position.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of current practices in the IDD field
- Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate with individuals and staff and to prepare necessary written documentation
- Ability and the empathy needed to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with DSPs and other supervisory staff
- Superior leadership and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in utilizing a computer
- All required clearances
- Valid driver's license
