Job Summary
Translate healthcare and patient-facing documents for a federal healthcare language services requirement in a fully remote, as-needed capacity. Duties include translating medical/administrative documents, preserving meaning and terminology, supporting quality control, editing, proofreading, or bilingual review, meeting standard and expedited turnaround timelines, and protecting confidential information in compliance with HIPAA/privacy requirements. Candidates should have strong writing in both source and target languages and be able to support per-word translation assignments; HIPAA training documentation may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Current American Translators Association (ATA) certification required.
- Professional written translation experience.
- Experience translating medical, healthcare, patient rights, privacy, or government documents.
