Job Summary
At Your Service Center Colleague at Macy's Makalapua (Part Time) supports Buy Online Pickup In Store, merchandise returns, and order pickups while delivering a seamless, hospitality-driven shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining a clean and inviting sales floor, helping with curbside/BOPS orders, reviewing sales goals, staying informed on arrivals and top-selling items, processing transactions on the cash register, and promoting loyalty benefits. The role requires strong multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a customer-first mindset. The position emphasizes delivering genuine hospitality, helping customers find products, and contributing to store results with a focus on service quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Makes prompt, sound decisions in real time to effectively address customer needs and resolve issues
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Meeting daily sales goal challenges
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
- Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
- You can handle electronic devices with no problem
- Essential Physical Requirements: standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25lbs, walking, bending, reaching, etc.
