Job Summary
Greet customers with genuine hospitality, assist with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, and order pickups while maintaining a clean, organized shopping space. Process register transactions proficiently using handheld equipment and cash registers, recover merchandise, and ensure timely curbside delivery. Share Loyalty program benefits, acquire new customers by opening credit accounts, and meet daily sales goals through teamwork and problem-solving. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to support store operations and achieve individual results.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Must be able to make prompt, sound decisions in real time to effectively address customer needs and resolve issues
- Must be able to be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Must be able to handle electronic devices with no problem
- Must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours
- Must be able to lift at least 25lbs
- Must be able to stoop, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Must be able to reach, including above eye level
- Must have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Must be able to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Must be able to meet daily sales goal challenges
- Must be able to be responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Must be able to enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
- Must be able to be resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities
- Must be able to work on your own but are great with team dynamics
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts such as nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work weekend shifts as part of the requirements
