Job Summary
At Your Service Center Colleague at Macy's (Part Time): Deliver a seamless, personalized shopping experience by supporting Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), returns, order pickups, and related tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, driving merchandise flow, assisting across the At Your Service area, maintaining a clean and organized pickup/return area, and ensuring a friction-free customer pick-up experience. You’ll engage customers, review sales goals, learn new arrivals and promotions, and help meet daily sales goals. Proficiency with POS systems, processing transactions, and communicating loyalty benefits are required. The role emphasizes flexibility to work various shifts (nights, weekends, holidays), strong teamwork, hospitality, and a customer-first mindset, with physical duties like standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Makes prompt, sound decisions in real time to effectively address customer needs
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Meeting daily sales goal challenges
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
- Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
- You can handle electronic devices with no problem
- Essential Physical Requirements include talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, reaching, and climbing ladders; working with computers and handheld equipment; processing transactions
