Job Summary
As the At Your Service Captain at Macy's in Marlborough, MA, you will be an advocate for the customer and a role model for colleagues, driving customer satisfaction and brand loyalty through promotional and Omni selling initiatives (e.g., Online Pickup in Store, Curbside). You’ll lead and collaborate with a People Leader to communicate expectations, mentor peers, and guide store activities, with advancement opportunities into Sales or Customer Experience management. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding customer experiences, resolving issues (e.g., converting returns to exchanges), educating customers and colleagues on the Macy's mobile app and POS technology, and participating in opening/closing procedures while maintaining By Online Pickup in Store and Curbside areas. Required attributes include flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays), strong communication, adaptability to changing priorities, and 1–2 years of direct retail experience preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and a customer-first mindset within a dynamic retail environment.
