Job Summary

Lead the AT Team on the GE Haliade-X platform by managing full scope task execution, from part preparation to turbine status reporting. Perform and oversee maintenance, repair, and replacement of parts while leading diagnostic electrical analysis for complex mechanical and electrical malfunctions. Serve as the primary site point of contact for day-to-day operational and logistical matters, coordinating safe onboarding/offboarding of technicians and equipment. Champion GE Lean principles to drive efficiency and issue resolution, while supporting recruitment and technician development to advance competency levels. Enforce high safety standards and monitor site conditions to ensure work complies with Emergency Response Plans and weather-based limits. Manage the logistical readiness of offshore teams and report on project KPIs, requiring flexibility to work rotating shift schedules and travel internationally for training.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Wind Technician
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in troubleshooting (hydraulic, electrical, and power tools)
  • Demonstrated experience leading field teams and coordinating cross-functional, remote teams
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating shift schedules and be on-call per site needs
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally during periods of training and Kaizen events
  • Fluency in English (strong oral and written skills)
  • Ability and willingness to work in diverse environments, including offshore vessels, industrial facilities, and manufacturing sites
  • Ability to handle repetitive weight of 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet daily
  • Must meet manufacturer weight limits (not to exceed 300 lbs, including all required gear)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must successfully complete a drug screen (as applicable)
