Job Summary

Lead maintenance, repair, and replacement of parts on the GE Haliade-X platform, overseeing complex troubleshooting of SW, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions. Perform diagnostic electrical analysis and document work using computer-based service reporting procedures. Manage full scope of task execution, including part/tool preparation, work-party deployment, and reporting on turbine status and project KPIs. Serve as primary site lead for day-to-day operational and logistical matters, coordinating safe onboarding/offboarding of technicians and equipment. Provide direct leadership to Technician Leads and Technicians, championing the GE Lean program to drive efficiency and process quality improvements. Monitor site conditions and weather-based allowable working limits to ensure safe completion of maintenance. Work rotating shift schedules and be on-call per site needs, reporting to work at all wind sites within the Vineyard Wind Hub.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Wind Technician
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in troubleshooting (hydraulic, electrical, and power tools)
  • Demonstrated experience leading field teams and coordinating cross-functional, remote teams
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating shift schedules and be on-call per site needs
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally during periods of training and Kaizen events
  • Fluency in English (strong oral and written skills)
  • Ability and willingness to work in diverse environments, including offshore vessels, industrial facilities, and manufacturing sites
  • Ability to handle repetitive weight of 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet daily
  • Must meet manufacturer weight limits (not to exceed 300 lbs, including all required gear)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must successfully complete a drug screen (as applicable)
