Job Summary

Lead a high-performing Systems Engineering team of Sales Engineers to drive technical sales strategy and accelerate business growth for AT&T. Develop and execute account strategies that support large, complex networking and infrastructure opportunities while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous technical growth. Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent, establishing succession plans and performance metrics aligned with regional objectives. Serve as the senior technical leader and trusted advisor to customer executives, guiding solution architecture, technical validation, and proof-of-concepts for multi-domain initiatives. Partner with Sales Leadership, Product Management, and channel organizations to influence strategic technology decisions and drive revenue expansion. Manage technical opportunity pipelines and forecasting activities to ensure predictable execution across the geographically distributed organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, infrastructure, or cloud technologies
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing Systems Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Presales organizations
  • Demonstrated success supporting large telecommunications providers, preferably AT&T or comparable Tier 1 service providers
  • Experience leading geographically distributed technical teams
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and participate in strategic customer engagements
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, telecom architectures, cloud networking, security, automation, and AI-driven infrastructure solutions
  • Proven track record of supporting large-scale, complex sales opportunities and driving business results
  • University or Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel to customer and HPE locations as needed
  • Candidates should reside within reasonable proximity to key AT&T locations, within the Continental US

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced university or Master's degree
  • Strong expertise in Juniper networking technologies and carrier-class networking environments
  • Experience with service provider architectures, WAN, routing, switching, SD-WAN, security, and network automation
  • Deep expertise in service provider networking (MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, IS-IS, etc.), data center networking (EVPN/VXLAN, leaf-spine), and campus & branch networking
  • Knowledge of AI-powered networking and cloud-native network operations
  • Experience working within matrixed global organizations
