At-Risk Counselor

At-Risk Counselor in Johnston County Schools (Smithfield, NC) responsible for development and management of a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with NC standards. Duties include leadership for the Guidance Curriculum, Individual Student Planning, Preventive and Responsive Services, and program management, system support, and accountability. Uses data to inform program direction, collaborates with administrators, teachers, students, parents, and community leaders, and conducts yearly program audits. Provides direct counseling services and supports students’ academic, career, and personal/social development in accordance with state standards and professional guidelines.
