Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance for clients while planning meals, managing light housekeeping, and administering prescribed medications. Provide companionship, accompany clients on shopping trips, and report health changes or respond to emergencies promptly. Ensure clients receive light physical exercise and walks as part of their custom care plans. Maintain reliable transportation and adhere to strict health and safety standards. Schedule options include full-time, part-time, and various shift lengths with flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Confidence in physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Comfort performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
