Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance for clients while planning meals and managing light housekeeping. Accompany clients on errands, supervise shopping trips, and ensure appropriate medication administration. Report health changes or emergencies immediately and provide supportive companionship. Maintain reliable transportation and time management to juggle multiple duties across Hill Country locations. Adhere to state health and safety standards and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Physical endurance for carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
