Job Summary
Provide personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation for clients while assisting with mobility, light housekeeping, and medication management. Accompany clients on errands and shopping trips, report health changes or incidents, and respond quickly to emergencies. Maintain a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license to transport clients across Kingwood, Huffman, and surrounding areas. Adhere to strict health and safety standards, including background checks and First Aid training. Enjoy flexible full-time or part-time schedules with options for advanced dementia care training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
