Job Summary
Deliver personal care, hygiene, and light housekeeping for clients while assisting with mobility, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship, accompany clients on errands, and report health changes or emergencies promptly. Maintain strict adherence to custom care plans, dietary constraints, and state health and safety standards. Possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and First Aid training to transport clients safely across the Upper Connecticut River Valley. Manage multiple duties with excellent time-management skills while enjoying flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for advanced dementia care training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced training in areas like dementia care and/or Alzheimer's care
