Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation for clients while assisting with mobility, light housekeeping, and medication management. Provide companionship, support exercise and walks, and accompany clients on shopping trips or appointments. Respond quickly to emergencies and report health changes, ensuring all care aligns with custom plans and dietary constraints. Maintain reliable transportation to client homes and adhere to state health and safety standards. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and First Aid training. Part-time, 8-12 hour shifts available with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Confidence in physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Comfort performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
