Job Summary
Provides personal care and companionship to seniors in the client’s home in Porterville, CA. Responsibilities include personal care, continuous companionship, meal planning and food preparation, light housekeeping, transportation assistance, creating a clean, safe living environment, observing and reporting changes in the client’s physical/emotional/mental condition, maintaining activity records, and ensuring client safety. Requires at least 1 year of caregiving experience, valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience is a plus; CNA is a plus. Office serves Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, Porterville, and surrounding areas; flexible part-time schedules and ongoing training are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience
- Valid California Driver's License
- Must have personal, reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Background check/drug test
- CNA a plus
