Job Summary
ASW Developer for inverter control in automotive, contributing to agile development in Bosch's energy and building technology domain. Responsibilities and skills include developing application software in C/C++ for electric control products (inverter, motor control unit, vehicle control unit), modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and TargetLink, using toolchains such as Davinci, EB tresos, and CANoe, and applying ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards. Requires experience with DOORS for requirements management, Jira/IBM-RTC for agile processes, and collaboration with international teams. Strong background in signal processing and/or control engineering, model development for electric machines or thermal systems, and familiarity with AUTOSAR and functional safety concepts. Excellent English communication and documentation abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics, Automation, Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application software development related to electric control in the automotive industry, with experience in electric control products (e.g., inverter, motor control unit, vehicle control unit) preferred
- Proficient in C/C++ programming language
- Skilled in using various software development and configuration tools (e.g., Matlab Simulink, TargetLink, Davinci, EB tresos, CANoe, etc.)
- Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with requirements management (e.g., in DOORS)
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Jira, IBM-RTC)
- Knowledge of software development processes and standards (ASPICE) and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
- Expert knowledge and practical experience in signal processing and/or control engineering
- Experience in model development (e.g., for electric machines, thermal systems)
- Basic knowledge in the areas of Functional Safety, vehicle diagnostics, ASPICE, and AUTOSAR
- Fluent in English as a working language
