Job Summary
Senior PMO/Project Manager role leading event workflow optimization, change management, and cross-functional business-process improvements. Responsible for organizing requirements, planning and driving implementation of solutions across departments, promoting adoption, and ensuring stable operation. Collaborates with global teams, communicates in English and Japanese, and leverages AI/digital tools (Office 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot) to standardize, automate, and elevate operational efficiency. May support cross-divisional initiatives and PMO activities, with potential to move into People Manager responsibilities in alignment with organizational needs. Must manage stakeholder expectations, lead process optimization efforts beyond events, and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience of 3+ years leading large-scale projects as project lead or PMO
- Cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Hands-on experience in Process Excellence/Operational Excellence
- Understanding business stakeholders and ability to structure complex problems and propose actionable solutions
- Experience driving change management to embed new processes/tools
- Fluent Japanese (native) and Business English (TOEIC 700+ preferred)
- Ability to plan, manage progress, solve problems, manage risks, and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to lead or support People Management in the future
- Experience with Office 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot or similar digital tools
