Job Summary
Lead Medical Platform capability and launch excellence initiatives to maximize business value through strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable system management. Drive optimization of Medical platforms and models for AZKK; oversee IT projects across full lifecycle (incidents, problems, changes, SLAs, configurations); ensure compliance with global IT policies; manage platform operations, vendor relationships, and organizational change initiatives. Collaborate with Medical units to tailor platform development, ensure scalable production handovers, and implement data-driven use cases (RWD) and SAS-based analytics. Leverage AI-enabled initiatives and JDH-enabled data integration; align roadmaps with commercial IT needs and drive Kaizen improvements. Requirements include graduate degree, 10+ years of relevant experience, Salesforce/AWS certifications, expertise in web/mobile engineering, strong stakeholder management, and business-level Japanese and English; ITIL certification and experience with cloud-based analytics are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in computer science or similar
- 10+ years of experience in IT/related role delivering results
- Proven experience with IT deployments, operations & maintenance for commercial systems
- Experience with business analysis techniques enabling business change or complex systems operations
- Experience with RWD and analytics in pharma/medical domains
- Salesforce Platform/AWS certification and advanced custom solutions design
- Web and Mobile application engineering
- Project management experience with internal IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Business-level Japanese and English (facilitating meetings)
- ITIL certification (preferred)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight timelines
- Experience with data platforms like Japan Data Hub and SAS analytics
