Job Summary
The Assurance Sr Associate 1 will perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with RSM's audit methodology, ensuring proper documentation and identifying areas of risk. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, developing industry expertise, and preparing audit reports. The role requires strong technical accounting skills in IFRS or GAAP and GAAS, effective communication with clients and teams, and participation in ongoing education and projects. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce and 3+ years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Commerce
- Non-qualified: 3+ years of relevant experience
- CA qualified + 1 year relevant experience
- ACCA/CPA qualified + 2 years relevant experience
- Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in 'Investment Funds' industry
- Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
