Job Summary
The Assurance Sr Associate 1 - Consumer Goods at RSM is responsible for understanding clients' needs, performing audit procedures, identifying areas of risk, preparing audit reports, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, particularly in IFRS or GAAP, along with effective communication and project management capabilities. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and relevant experience based on their qualifications. Collaboration with team members and supervision of associates are also key aspects of this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Commerce
- Non-qualified: 3+ years of relevant experience
- CA qualified + 1-year relevant experience
- ACCA/CPA qualified + 2 years relevant experience
- Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Consumer Goods Industry
- Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
