Job Summary
As an Assurance Sr Associate 1 in Capital Markets, you will understand clients' needs and expectations, perform audit procedures, develop industry expertise, prepare audit reports, and ensure quality documentation. You should be skilled in accounting standards such as IFRS or GAAP and have strong technical accounting capabilities. The role requires effective communication, risk identification, project management, and providing supervision and training for associates to deliver excellent client service. A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce is essential, along with significant relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Commerce
- Non-qualified: 3+ years of relevant experience
- CA qualified + 1-year relevant experience
- ACCA/CPA qualified + 2 years relevant experience
- Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Capital Markets (broker-dealer) industry
- Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
