Job Summary
The Assurance Senior manages the audit process, ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal control systems while mentoring audit associates. Responsibilities include drafting financial statements, maintaining client communications, supervising audit staff, applying GAAP, and executing internal control audits. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least two years of related experience, and are pursuing CPA certification. Strong analytical skills and project management capabilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, required
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment, required
- Two (2) or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accountancy
- CPA certification
