Job Summary
Lead client meetings to establish engagement timelines, objectives, and expectations, then perform audit, review, or compilation procedures. Manage all engagement phases including workpaper, financial statement, and report preparation, while analyzing trial balances and preparing complex financial statements using audit software, Word, and Excel. Reconcile accounting data with control accounts, conduct fraud interviews as needed, and review staff work to prepare high-risk audit sections. Provide financial analysis post-fieldwork to improve client controls, coordinate activities to meet client needs within specified time frames, and conduct fieldwork at client locations. Train and delegate tasks to staff based on availability and experience, network to attract new business, and attend professional development seminars. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 2-4 years of audit experience, and a valid or working CPA license. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 2-4 years of audit experience
- valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working towards obtaining CPA license
- knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles
- ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to effectively share ideas and collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages
- willingness to travel as needed for client engagements
- authorization to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship
