Job Summary
Lead assurance projects from planning through completion, assessing internal controls and resolving complex financial reporting issues while ensuring quality and compliance. Build trusted relationships with clients across manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, and financial sectors by delivering value-added solutions and maintaining clear communication. Supervise and mentor senior staff and associates, providing technical guidance and supporting career growth. Manage project budgets, billing processes, and firm initiatives while contributing to niche development and recruiting efforts. Maintain expertise in auditing standards through continuous learning and self-directed study.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive public accounting experience
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAS and GAAP
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex engagements simultaneously
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in paperless auditing applications, plus Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other business tools
- Strong communication skills with a client-service mindset
- A proactive approach, high integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- CPA preferred
- Accounting degree from an accredited college preferred
- Oil & gas industry experience a plus
