Job Summary
Assurance Manager 1 role based in Bengaluru, India focusing on managing staff in assurance engagements for the US business teams, overseeing quality control, staff development, and training programs. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating engagement phases, supervising RDC staff, ensuring proper self-review, maintaining professional standards, and fostering client relationships across abroad teams. Requires strong accounting expertise (GAAP, GAAS, IFRS), staff oversight and training capabilities, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders. Preferred background includes Consumer Goods industry experience and Big 4 exposure; proficiency in data analytics (Excel—Vlookups, PivotTables) and presentation tools (PowerPoint).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Commerce
- CA/CPA/ACCA qualified
- 6+ years relevant experience
- GAAP GAAS IFRS proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
