Job Summary
Intermediate Assurance Associate conducts audits and assurance engagements for financial services clients, supports planning, execution, and reporting of audit engagements, maintains client communication, prepares audit documentation, collaborates with senior team members, and stays current with industry regulations and best practices. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of audit experience; CPA/CA/ACCA progress preferred. Hybrid work arrangement in Toronto with 3 days in office; responsibilities include planning, performing audits, evaluating controls, identifying risks, and delivering high-quality client service within a team-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in audit and assurance in a public accounting firm
- Progress towards CPA/CA/ACCA preferred
- Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
- High level of ethics and integrity
