Job Summary
The Assurance Experienced Senior is tasked with coordinating day-to-day "in-charge" duties including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up of audits. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, applying GAAP, assessing control systems, and serving as the main client contact for queries. Candidates should have significant audit experience, proficiency in internal control documentation, and knowledge of SEC and PCAOB regulations. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and eligibility to pursue CPA exams are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required OR Bachelor’s degree in other focus area and CPA certification required
- Three (3) or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience required
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment required
- Actively pursuing completion of the exams required
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accountancy preferred
- CPA preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Experience with assurance applications and research tools preferred
