Job Summary
Conduct audit, review, and compilation procedures for clients across various industries, including preparing workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports. Analyze trial balances, complex financial statements, and audit reports using specialized software, Word, and Excel. Perform schedule computations for accruals, property, equipment, depreciation, and long-term debt while reconciling accounting information to control accounts. Participate in client engagement meetings to define timelines and objectives, assist with planning and scheduling, and perform field work at client locations as needed. Ensure timely and accurate project performance by maintaining compliance with budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 1-2 years of experience auditing in a public accounting setting
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Valid CPA license or working towards obtaining CPA license
- Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles
- Demonstrates critical and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and use of various software packages
