Job Summary
AsstDir-Sales I at Marriott International, assists in leading the property’s segmented sales effort (group, transient, association, corporate, etc.) and assists in implementing the segment sales strategy to achieve segment revenue goals, property revenue goals, and guest and employee satisfaction. Performs day-to-day sales activities with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships and achieving personal booking goals. Develops and executes sales strategies, supports aggressive solicitation programs, collaborates with the management team to implement sales plans, and drives revenue through accurate proposals, contracts, and customer communications. Builds relationships with key stakeholders, participates in events and sales missions, analyzes market information, and ensures exceptional customer service aligned with brand and customer service standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
