Job Summary
Asst. Varsity Football Coach: Provide football coaching and mentorship for the varsity program with a emphasis on program-centered development, adherence to VHSL rules, and fostering sportsmanship among student-athletes. Roles include coaching duties, knowledge of football skills and tactics, supporting athletic philosophy, and coordinating with the school’s athletic staff. Applicants should prepare two letters of reference and a TB test or screening as part of the online application; environment includes exposure to varied elements and moderate physical activity, with occasional long periods of standing or walking. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach preferred.
- Must have extensive knowledge of VHSL rules and skills.
- Must be program-centered; must have good sportsmanship.
- Must have knowledge of VHSL rules and work well with children.
- Previously competed at college level, club team or professional level.
