Job Summary
Assist teachers with the instructional program through individual and small-group tutoring and directing classroom activities within a computer lab. Performs duties under supervision, including administering pre- and post-tests, grading and filing papers, preparing worksheets and learning activities, supervising student behavior, scheduling instructional sessions in the computer lab, and coordinating with teachers and parents to support student progress. Maintains records of student progress, replenishes instructional materials, and participates in conferences and school activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree and proficiency with Microsoft Office; duties emphasize collaboration, classroom supervision, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Experience supporting instructional programs in classroom or lab setting (preferred)
- Ability to administer tests and manage instructional materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication with teachers and parents
- Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Ability to work with students in individual and small-group settings
- Commitment to district goals and professional development
