Assistant Teacher at Associates Degree Level assists teachers with the instructional program through individual/small group tutoring and directing classroom activities within a computer lab. Responsibilities include administering pre- and post-tests, grading and filing papers, assigning worksheets and learning activities based on student needs, tutoring students, maintaining progress records, replenishing instructional materials, conferring with teachers on student performance and instructional planning, supervising student behavior, scheduling computer-lab sessions, participating in school activities and parent conferences, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires an Associates Degree level qualification and use of Microsoft Office; emphasis on collaboration, organization, and continuous improvement in student learning within the district.
