Job Summary
Develop, coordinate, and manage the Villa Sport Swim Team under general supervision from the Aquatics Director while working closely with the Head Swim Coach. Organize and lead programs in a safe, responsible manner with minimal direct oversight, requiring self-motivation and resourcefulness. Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively within the club community. This role supports the mission of creating energizing environments where fitness, family, and fun converge across resort-style clubs in California, Texas, Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with aquatics industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Competitive swimming background
- Minimum of 1year instructing swim lessons
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer)
- 18 years of age and Swimming Coaches Safety Training Certification (including First Aid) and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Coaching experience preferred
- American Swimming Coaches Association - Level 1 preferred
- Associates Degree preferred
