Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at TJX Companies is responsible for driving store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing operations including merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving, with a strong focus on minimizing shrink and damages. You will attract, recruit, and develop Associates, mentor and lead a large team, implement action plans for projects and company initiatives, contribute to succession planning, and coordinate loss prevention and store programs to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide feedback and mentorship
- Proficient in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention
