Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsible for driving store performance by supporting sales targets, managing expenses, and overseeing operations including merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving. Will attract, recruit, and develop Associates; mentor and model a positive, engaging environment; implement action plans for projects and company initiatives; contribute to succession planning; coordinate loss prevention and store layout improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide effective feedback and mentorship to others
- Proficient in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention
