Assistant Store Manager provides customer service leadership; supervises store employees, manages merchandise presentation, scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and assists with deposits and store operations under the Store Manager's direction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months supervisory experience
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
