Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager to support Store Manager in leading store operations, supervising employees, managing merchandise presentation and inventory, handling deposits, and ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Key duties include customer service leadership, cash handling and register accuracy, scheduling and training of staff, executing planograms, stock replenishment, inventory control, and adherence to security procedures. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, problem-solving, and ability to perform cash handling and deposit responsibilities; high school diploma or equivalent preferred with retail and supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to drive own vehicle to bank to deposit money
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents and procedures
- Mathematical proficiency including percentages
