Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager helps maintain a clean, customer-first store, assists with supervision of store employees, merchandising, deposits, and daily store operations under the Store Manager, and performs stocking and cashiering duties. Must demonstrate strong customer service, cash handling, scheduling and training abilities, safety compliance, and the maintenance of planograms and inventory accuracy to maximize profitability and reduce losses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to perform cash register functions and generate reports
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
