Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at a Dollar General location in Pullman, MI. Responsibilities include supervising store employees under the Store Manager, assisting with merchandise presentation and planograms, scheduling and training employees, cashiering and customer service, opening/closing the store, managing inventory and shrink, ensuring cash controls and deposits are performed accurately, and stepping in for the Store Manager in their absence. Requires effective communication, problem-solving, organization, ability to read safety and operating instructions, and the ability to drive the bank deposit route when needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a retail environment
